Brief Itinerary
Day 1
DELHI TO SHIMLA | OVERNIGHT JOURNEY
• Depart from Delhi in the evening and travel overnight to Shimla.
Day 2
SHIMLA TO CHITKUL/SANGLA
Sightseeing in Shimla (optional, brief stop if desired):
The Ridge and Mall Road: Stroll around Shimla’s bustling center.
Christ Church: One of the oldest churches in North India.
Travel to Sangla Valley: A scenic journey through mountains and valleys.
Overnight in Chitkul or Sangla.
Chitkul: Known as the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border.
Baspa River: Offers beautiful riverside views.
Day 3
CHITKUL/SANGLA TO NAKO/TABO
Sightseeing en route:
Kamru Fort: A heritage fort near Sangla.
Karcham Dam: Scenic views of the Sutlej and Baspa river confluence.
Continue to Nako or Tabo.
Nako Lake and Monastery: Peaceful lake with stunning views and a historic monastery.
Tabo Monastery (if staying in Tabo): Known as the “Ajanta of the Himalayas,” with ancient murals and statues.
Overnight stay in Nako or Tabo.
Day 4
NAKO/TABO TO KAZA
Sightseeing en route:
Gue Monastery: Home to a 500-year-old mummy of a Tibetan monk.
Dhankar Monastery and Fort: Offers panoramic views ofthe Spiti Valley.
Continue to Kaza for an overnight stay
Day 5
KAZA FULL-DAY EXPLORATION
Key Monastery: The largest and most famous monastery in Spiti, perched on a hill with panoramic valley views.
Kibber Village: One of the highest villages in the world accessible by road.
Chicham Bridge: The highest bridge in Asia, offering incredible views of the gorge below.
Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 6
KAZA SIGHTSEEING
Hikkim: Home to the highest post office in the world.
Langza Village: Known for its giant Buddha statue and fossil hunting sites.
Comic Village: One of the highest villages in the world and home to the Tangyud Monastery.
Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 7
KAZA TO KALPA
Travel back from Kaza to Kalpa with scenic views of the Spiti and Sutlej rivers.
Kalpa Village Sightseeing:
Suicide Point: Known for dramatic cliff views.
Kinnaur Kailash Range: Stunning views of the snow-clad peaks.
Kalpa Monastery and Hu-Bu-Lan-Kar Monastery: Local monasteries with serene vibes.
Overnight stay in Kalpa.
Day 8
KALPA TO SHIMLA
Journey Back to Shimla: Enjoy views of apple orchards and rivers along the way.
Optional sightseeing in Shimla (if time allows).
Board Volvo bus in the evening for an overnight journey to Delhi.
Day 9
DELHI ARRIVAL| TOUR ENDS
Arrive in Delhi in the morning, concluding the trip..

Delicious Meals: A total of 8 meals (4 breakfasts and 4 dinners) will be provided during the trip.

Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.
Keep Note
Please stick to the tour program. No refunds if you're late, join late, or leave early. Unused services are non-refundable.
Any unexpected costs due to such incidents or changes must be covered by you at the time, directly with our POC or trip captain.
Remote locations might limit services, but we ask for your patience and understanding in these cases.

Hindustaan Expedition is not liable for any costs due to accidents, theft, natural disasters (earthquakes, landslides, snowfall, floods), government orders, strikes, political disturbances, or weather-related changes.
Additional costs for special requests like early check-in, late check-out, or room upgrades will be your responsibility and depend on availability.
Volvo buses between Delhi and the base are third-party services, so stops and routes are out of our control. In case of breakdowns, we’ll arrange a backup as soon as possible.
If you're sharing a room with 3 people, extra bedding won’t be provided, but we have comfy mattresses to rotate and rest.
Love the mountains! Bring a reusable bottle, minimize plastic use, and take your trash with you. Let’s protect and cherish the places we explore together.
